Demon Slayer is the first anime to have a 3-part trilogy, a continuation from its last arc series, “Hashira training,” which was left on a cliffhanger in the last episode. That cliffhanger is continued by 3 more movies coming out in the next few years. However, the audience may know the events that are going to happen due to the manga, many people are excited and hyped to see how they animated it and turn it into a film, which causes many people to enjoy the whole context of the anime, which can lead to it being the top anime of the year.
People don’t just like the movie because of its concept and story plot, but also because of its animation. Demon Slayer is known due to the way the high quality of their animation and visuals they add to the animation. These impressive animations can draw attention to people due to the excitement they get through every scene because of the action and the unique art style of the film. Which can get the hook and draw attention to people, making them want to watch it. When the movie was released, many fans left reviews on the movie, and all had different perspectives on the long-awaited movie. A fan wrote, “The movie is about 2.5 hours, but it kept me hooked the whole time. The animation was absolutely stunning, with Infinity Castle’s shifting design making every scene feel surreal.”
However, others might’ve thought there were some disadvantages towards the film “If there’s one drawback, it’s that the pacing can feel overwhelming—so much happens at once that it risks numbing the emotional beats”. The different perspectives lead to both good and some hate the movie. Overall, many people seemed to enjoy it, stating, “Coming in as someone who knows literally nothing about the series, I found the movie to still be quite engaging and very enjoyable. The animation was top-notch, with the attack effects being stylish and the overall cinematography very effective.”
After years of waiting, Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle finally hit theaters, and to some fans, it was worth the wait. It first premiered in Japan earlier this year, later than its release in theaters in every national region, like the US and Canada, on September 18, 2025. There weren’t many changes to characters or their voice actors. Some characters didn’t get as many lines as major characters did, which caused some fans to be upset. Demon Slayer is the beginning of the end of one of the biggest anime franchises, so fans look forward to seeing two more films to finish the final arc of Demon Slayer.
