At Flushing High School, we have a wide variety of sports to participate in throughout the year.
Every fall, athletes can choose from boys’ badminton, co-ed bowling, football, girls’ soccer, boys’ soccer, and girls’ volleyball, each led by dedicated coaching staff.
Spring sports follow in March, with baseball, girls’ varsity and junior varsity softball, co-ed tennis, boys’ volleyball, girls’ badminton, and handball.
To compete, all athletes must complete a physical examination history form and a PSAL parental consent form. These essential documents require students to answer questions about their fitness & health.
The Flushing Red Devils have built a strong reputation in the athletic arena. Throughout the school year, teams focus on training, skill development, and fostering a spirit of competition. Coaches emphasize the importance of teamwork and discipline to prepare their athletes for the challenges that lie ahead. With a solid framework in place, Flushing High School students are ready to dominate in their team uniforms and strive for success on and off the field.
If you haven’t joined a sport yet this year, or if it’s your first year here at Flushing, attend one of the home games, get involved as a team manager, or just talk to people who play a sport. Who knows, maybe you’ll go for it and try out for a team!
